Followed instructions to the letter and left on longer than recommended. Leg was numb for an hour and 10 and then I could start to feel slight twinge but totally gone by an hour and a half. I will say that having that time allowed the 4 hour session to be bearable on the calf area. I did use the numbing gel as well and found this had a slight effect on the open areas as it says it’s for. Will still use again on my next session. This is the first time I have used any product and I have numerous tattoos. I would recommend for a shorter session for a first time user. I will also try again on my next piece on my lower back to see if the numbing last longer.
